As a rising star at Decker Jones, Kacie brings a fresh perspective with an eye for practical solutions to the team. Her remarkable professional, academic, and volunteer performance record demonstrates a proven dedication to excellence. After earning a Masters of Public Affairs (MPA) at the University of Texas at Dallas, Kacie graduated with honors from the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University. While attending law school, Kacie served on the editorial board for the International Law Review, President of the Corporate Law Association, and Faculty Research Fellow. Some of her achievements include winning best asset purchase agreement for the SMU Transactional LawMeet team, first place in the Board of Advocates Negotiations Competition, and being selected for the Dallas Women Lawyers Association Leadership Class. Additionally, Kacie served as a legal writing teaching assistant and an intern for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Kacie is passionate about serving the local community, and has volunteered with Buried Alive, Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County, and Meals on Wheels. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, board games, reading, and spending time with family.
