Jury Exonerates Bell Helicopter in Discrimination Case
After a four day trial, a jury found Bell Helicopter Textron Inc. did not discriminate on the basis of age and other protected characteristics in a civil case brought by a former employee.
Bell Helicopter’s defense team, Decker Jones attorneys Cynthia Hill and Eamonn Wiles, said the company was “completely exonerated” by the jury’s rejection of every claim made by the former employee. The jury likewise rejected his request for nearly $500,000 in damages.
The jury verdict was returned in less than an hour on Feb. 16, 2017 in the 348th District Court of Tarrant County, Texas.
