BIO

Kiala Ellingson brings an interdisciplinary approach to her practice with a strong background in STEM. Kiala attended Saint Mary’s College of California where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. While at Saint Mary’s, Kiala worked as a chemistry lab assistant and led a Biomedical Ethics colloquium, a non-course credit seminar for students in the Honors Program. Kiala then attended Baylor University School of Law where she graduated magna cum laude with a J.D. During her time in law school, Kiala volunteered at the Baylor Intellectual Property Clinic, assisting emerging entrepreneurs with patent and trademark matters. In addition, she interned with the United States District Court in Waco, served as an Executive Editor for the Baylor Law Review, and competed in national-level moot court competitions, winning awards for brief-writing and oral advocacy. In her free time, Kiala enjoys singing and playing the piano, volunteering at her church, and exploring new places.
