BIO
Rob has been practicing law for over fifty years with the same firm where he has enjoyed an active oil and gas practice including engagements with independent oil and gas operators. Having witnessed the vagaries of the oil and gas industry from both the legal and business perspectives, Rob has the experience to navigate the challenges yet to come in the ever evolving world of oil and gas exploration and production and associated legal issues for both landowners and operators.
Apart from the law practice, Rob has been involved in his community having served on the boards of a number of organizations in support of the arts, healthcare, education and human services. He has been an officer and director of the William Edrington Scott Foundation for over 40 years and remains very much involved in the world of philanthropy and the foundation arena.
Rob also enjoys skiing, hiking and flower photography in the mountains of Colorado where he spends some, but not nearly enough, time each summer and winter. Other activities include running, some golf and hunting. Travel is a consuming interest, having visited over 60 counteries all around and all over the world including visits to all seven continents combine the history of the country with active engagements with the people and places visited.
