Adam Fulkerson has been named Decker Jones’ Chief Executive Officer by the firm’s shareholders.  He replaces Brian Yost who stepped down to serve a growing list of clients seeking counsel on all aspects of intellectual property law.

“Brian has been an exceptional leader as our firm has grown its client base and continued to thrive despite the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Vianei Braun, Chief Development Officer and employment law shareholder.  “Under his leadership, our firm successfully supported its clients and provided top-notch legal representation during unusually challenging times.”

Fulkerson previously served as Chief Operating Officer of the firm and was instrumental in upgrading the firm’s technology and ensuring seamless client service during the past year.  “Adam is a proven leader and trusted advisor. His vision and business acumen will serve Decker Jones well,” Braun said.

A member of the firm since 2010, Fulkerson is a mergers and acquisitions attorney who represents private companies, families, and private equity firms in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions.  Fulkerson also serves as outside general counsel for several of the firm’s clients, and with an LLM in Taxation, he regularly represents clients in all types of federal, state, and local taxation matters.
