Jury gives local contractor the “win” insulation distributor had promised but not delivered.

A federal jury in Fort Worth awarded Southwest Insulation, Inc., $675,250.  The jury found that General Insulation Company, a large Boston, Massachusetts based distributor, breached its promise to competitively price insulation purchased by Southwest Insulation under a written supply agreement.  Ron Wright, owner of Southwest Insulation, states,   “General had promised us a ‘win-win’ deal but then priced us out of the market causing significant losses to our business.”   Southwest Insulation was represented by Dan Bates of Decker Jones, a well-respected Fort Worth law firm.  Wright stated “Dan, Kyle Fonville and the whole Decker Jones team fought long and hard in court to make General give us back the overcharges and lost profits we had suffered.”
