Texas Center for Arts + Academics’ “Greatest Show in Fort Worth” is on Aug. 27

FORT WORTH, Texas – Aug. 22, 2022 – The Texas Center for Arts + Academics Gala 2022 is Aug. 27, benefiting the center’s Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts, Texas School of the Arts, Texas Boys Choir, Singing Girls of Texas, and TCA+A Conservatories.

“The Greatest Show in Fort Worth” – the Gala – begins 6:15 p.m. at the Ridglea Theater, 6025 Camp Bowie Blvd. Broadway stars Jay Armstrong Johnson and Ahmad Simmons, alumni of the Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts, will be special guests. The Decker Jones, PC, law firm in Fort Worth is a major sponsor.

“The Texas Center for Arts + Academics is dedicated to inspiring our youth through academics rooted in the arts and a world view; Decker Jones is honored to support these schools,” said Daniel Bates, Texas Center chairman and Decker Jones lawyer specializing in litigation. Bates’ son and a daughter attended FWAFA, and son was a member of the Texas Boys Choir.

The Gala will feature a VIP reception with entertainment by alumni Madison Rogers, a singer and songwriter who lives in Austin. The event includes an open bar and gourmet food prepared by Magdelena’s. The after party entertainment is Big City Outlaws, fronted by Keith Groh, a FWAFA alumn.
